Bogdan Cautis

Bogdan Cautis is an internationally recognized computer scientist and AI researcher specializing in data management, graph analytics, information diffusion, and machine learning. He currently serves as Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology and Professor at Université Paris-Saclay, where he has built a distinguished academic career spanning nearly two decades. His research focuses on understanding how information propagates through complex networks and developing advanced algorithms for graph-based learning and large-scale data systems. Cautis has published extensively in many of the world’s leading AI, data science, and database venues, including AAAI, KDD, IJCAI, ICDE, VLDB, SIGMOD, PODS, and The Web Conference, as well as top academic journals. He has supervised numerous PhD researchers and is recognized for his contributions to both foundational research and applied AI systems. His academic career has also included appointments at Télécom ParisTech, the National University of Singapore, and the Franco-Singaporean research laboratory IPAL, as well as a period as Senior Research Scientist at Huawei’s Noah’s Ark Lab in Hong Kong. As a co-founder of Morphism, Cautis brings deep scientific expertise in information propagation, network analysis, and AI. His research provides the technical foundation for Morphism’s efforts to model information diffusion, detect coordinated influence behaviors, and develop technologies that improve the integrity and resilience of digital information ecosystems.
